The Egyptian Super Cup is one of the most anticipated fixtures in the region, bringing together Egypt’s top teams for a high-stakes showdown that blends rivalry, history, and big-match energy. Held in Abu Dhabi, the tournament attracts a wide audience, not just passionate football fans, but also casual viewers who tune in for the spectacle and atmosphere.

This year, our client, the UAE Pro League, approached us to bring a new layer of innovation to the broadcast with a focus on elevating the viewing experience for fans across the Middle East and beyond. The Egyptian Super Cup 2025 marked a key collaboration for us at Quidich Innovation Labs. For the first time, we joined the production team of this tournament, contributing our technology and operators to enhance the broadcast storytelling. And with it came another milestone: the BuggyQam made its debut at the Egyptian Super Cup.

Across two electrifying match days, first at Al Nahyan Stadium on 6th November 2025, followed by Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium on 9th November, the BuggyQam was deployed to bring viewers an entirely new perspective on the action. Designed to glide across the sidelines with speed and precision, the system added a dynamic, ground-level energy to the coverage, capturing the pace and emotion of the game in a way static cameras simply can’t.

For the fans, this meant a richer, more engaging way to experience the Super Cup. And for us, it was a strong demonstration of how advanced camera systems can enhance live sports storytelling when integrated into a high-quality broadcast environment. The deployment strengthened the narrative on screen, brought fans closer to the action and highlighted our continued effort to push the boundaries of sports production.

This collaboration with the UAE Pro League at the Egyptian Super Cup opens a new chapter in delivering world-class broadcast experiences, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.
